Recycle your old athletic shoes and support The Arc of Shelby County
The Arc of Shelby County’s shoe recycling program provides work-based learning experiences for individuals with intellectual disabilities and raises funds to benefit the organization’s programs and services for over 1,500 individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
By partnering with GotSneakers?, a sneaker recycling organization, Arc & Soles will also provide an environmentally friendly way for you to recycle your shoes while also supporting impoverished individuals throughout the world who desperately need shoes. Shoes that are at the end of their life will be recycled; however, shoes that can be cleaned and repurposed can find new life.
You can drop off your shoes at the following locations:

Kids and teens shoes accepted! All brands of athletic sneakers are accepted, including Running, Basketball, Gym & Training, and Cleats (rubber only)! Brands we love include Adidas, Altra, APL, Asics, Brooks, Columbia, Converse All-Stars, Fila, Hoka One One, Jordan, Keen, Merrell, Mizuno, New Balance, Nike, On, Puma, Reebok, Salomon, SAS, Saucony, Skechers, Under Armour, and Vans
